Walks

SUNDAY.  A re-run of Annie & Jane's West Dorset Three Peaks walk.  Starting from the A35 near Bridport, scale the great heights of 3 of Dorset’s most prominent landmarks – Colmer’s Hill (127 metres), Golden Cap (191 metres) and Thorncombe Beacon (157 metres).  10 miles, and hilly (obviously!).

SUNDAY.  Amanda will be leading a walk 'Three Mills on the River Stour' in the Sturminster Newton area. Approx 9 miles - fairly flat with 2/3 short climbs.

SUNDAY.  Chrissie and Pete W will be leading a lovely walk of approx 9 miles around Oare.  (6 miles east of Lynton in North Somerset).

FRIDAY - SUNDAY  An Exmoor camping and walking weekend is being planned by Caroline D. Based at Burrowhayes Farm Campsite near Horner between Minehead and Porlock.  Non-campers will be able to join the day walks.  

SUNDAY.  Paula C will be leading a walk in the Quantocks.  Details to follow.

SUNDAY - Sally G will lead a lovely walk in the Forde Abbey area of Somerset.  The walk will be 7 or 10 miles.

SUNDAY - Pat and Val will be leading a walk of approx 8 miles in the Montacute/ Ham Hill area.  Details to follow.
