Refreshments, Parking, Accommodation

Work in progress!  We are putting together three maps, one with tea rooms, cafes and pubs that members have used at the end of walks (we now have over 100 venues marked), one with parking places suitable for leaving cars during the walk, and one with overnight accommodation suitable for group weekends etc.  Drag the maps around, zoom in or out, and click the markers for more information.

If you want to nominate a cafe, pub or car park (or update information e.g. if somewhere has closed), please email Stan.  Accommodation should be suitable for 10 or so, and have been stayed in by a Footloose group or a Footloose member as part of another group.

Please note that Council car parks in North Devon can now be very expensive to park in all day - e.g. £10-12 in Lynton, Lynmouth & Combe Martin, £15 in Mortehoe and central Ilfracombe (other than Nov-Jan).  Please use alternatives e.g. Hillsborough for Ilfracombe, Hillsford Bridge near Watersmeet.
