Our regular weekend walks. Away weekends and short breaks will show here as well.
Walk - Clatworthy Reservoir - Maggie
SUNDAY. Maggie will lead a walk around Clatworthy Reservoir and the surrounding area in the Brendon Hills. 9 miles, likely to be moderately hilly.
Christmas walk and meal - Haselbury Mill - organiser Val
SUNDAY. The annual Christmas meal - a shortish walk led by Mike W, followed by a late lunch in the Haselbury Mill near Crewkerne, as last year. Val will email further details nearer the time.
Walk - Oakhill - Martyn & Juliet
SATURDAY. Martyn & Juliet will lead a walk from Oakhill, on the Mendips near Shepton Mallet. About 8.5 miles.
Walk - Norton-sub-Hamdon - Nigel
SUNDAY. Nigel will lead a walk from Norton sub Hamdon taking in Chiselborough, Montacute and Ham Hill.
Walk - Wellington - Philippa
WEDNESDAY. Philippa's New Year's Day walk around Wellington. 7 miles with a steady climb (and one steep bit) up to the Monument.

Walk - Broadwindsor - John
SUNDAY. John will lead a walk from Broadwindsor, with tea & cake afterwards. This will include great views from Pilsdon Pen & Lewesdon Hill. Harder end of “Medium” (8 miles, 1500’ of ascent).
Birthday Walk - West Chinnock
SUNDAY. Footloose303 will be 14 years old. Celebrate with a walk followed by tea and cake at John's. The walk will be from West Chinnock, led by Mike and about 9 miles.
Walk leaders needed - January to March
Walk leaders are needed from 25/26 January onwards.

Weekend away - Wye Valley - Fran
FRIDAY - MONDAY. A weekend in the River Wye Lodge next to the River Wye near Lydbrook in the Forest of Dean. Walks on the Saturday, Sunday or Monday. More details will be in Fran's email.
Weekend away - South Devon - Stan & Philippa
FRI-SUN. This year's Devon weekend will be in south Devon - likely to be based around Dartmouth with coastal and riverside walks. Same format as last year - book your own accommodation and optional meal on the Saturday. We are planning to do the recces in Jan/Feb and will post more details after then.
