One to try on Exmoor is the strategically-placed Rambler's Rest at County Gate, which has just re-opened again. It's worth checking the Facebook page as it was closed in the summer due to staff shortages.
Boevey's at Simonsbath has also re-opened and is worth a visit, though it will be closed November to February inclusive.
